| Claimer Rule: Claimer rule applies to any engine starting a
qualifying period or race, $150.00 cash fee required to claim an engine,
Applies to engine only, no accessories, Exchange of cash and engine in
tech only, If you have an engine claimed, you cannot reclaim that engine
at a later date, Failure to comply with the claimer rule will result in
a ban from competition in this class. |
| Removal of the Governor and Low Oil Shut Off is allowed. Optional
fuel tank removal is permitted. THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE LIMITS OF
MODIFICATIONS. |
| No Carburetor modifications, choke must remain intact and
operational. No boring or trimming of any carburetor or plastic adapter
internally or externally. Idle mixture screw may have the plastic cap
removed to allow idle adjustment. |
| Recoil Starter that comes with the engine must be attached at all
times and be used for starting. Electric starters prohibited. |
| Stamped steel drum shoe type clutches only.
Cutting of clutch shoes prohibited. |
| Allowed engines - Harbor Freight Blue (Honda clone) Greyhound,
Similar Yellow or Black (Honda clone) 6.5hp
engines at this time. All engines must meet the specs of the Harbor
Freight engines. |
| Number 219,35 or similar chain types only. |
| Header and Muffler requirements: Any
single stage, one piece header made from .750 O.D. steel tubing is allowed,
including the RLV header, part #5438C. Any Briggs and Stratton tube style muffler part #89966 or its aftermarket
equivalent (for example rotary power or the RLV silencer, part #4104) installed at the end of pipe. The tube
style muffler may either be welded or tread fitted to the pipe end. The
entire exhaust pipe, including the muffler, must be between 10
(minimum) and 14 (maximum). |
